I am a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist. I completed my undergraduate training at the University of Birmingham and went on to complete my Core Psychiatry Training in the Oxford Deanery. I then completed my Higher Training in Forensic Psychiatry in North London and was awarded Master of Laws in Mental Health Law from Northumbria University. During my career, I have worked in inpatient and community adult psychiatric services, inpatient and community older adult services, community forensic psychiatric services, low, medium and high secure forensic psychiatric inpatient services, magistrates’ court and I have worked in two busy London remand prisons.

I am an open and personable psychiatrist. I take the necessary time to understand the issues at hand and provide a thoughtful and reasoned approach to my work. I pride myself in the detail and clarity of my verbal and written communication. My reports are easy to understand and avoid jargon, while maintaining a high degree of detail.
